[Q][mod-req] nav-ring with capacitive buttons topic

My buddy has the moto turbo, and it has capacitive buttons much like our OPO, but it still has a functional nav-ring. I love using the capacitive buttons, but I miss the ring functionality with the on screen navigation buttons very much. Doors anyone know if this is portable, or any kind of wip?

Cheers, and Merry Christmas!

Capacitive button Remap? topic

I am rooted and running Artmod 5.4 with the stock kernel that the ROM came with. Is there any way to remap my menus button as recent app button? Do I have to change anything in the build.prop?

Help
Thanks

[Q] Broken capacitive layer, can I use a mouse? topic

Hello all, i would love to know if it is possible to use a mouse on my V, as i have no more touch control.
So, i don't only need to get the mouse working, but i also need to get it working without being able to use the phone.... (there is the upper edge that still works and i managed to get 360 degree auto rotation on so i can use all things that are on the edges like soft keys)

Any ideas?
It would be a great portable mediaplayer etc....

[Q] GPE 5.0.1 Stock: No light on capacitive buttons topic

Apparently my self and others who have upgrade to 5.0.1 on their GPE M7 HTC Ones have lost the light on their capacitive buttons. Hopefully this gets fixed. Any other work around for this?

[GUIDE][5.0]How to enable on-screen nav bar and disable hardware capacitive buttons. topic

INTRODUCTION
This guide is for Ivan's 5.0 Lollipop AOSP ROM but will work with other ROMs as well.

FEATURES
  • Pure AOSP feel.

  • Many people prefer it, including me.

  • Workaround for 'hardware key wakeup' bug.

  • Looks cool:D

PREREQUISITES
  • Ivan's Lollipop AOSP ROM.(May work on others too)

  • MI3.(Again may work on others too:p)

  • Root.

  • ES File Explorer.(or any file manager with root access)

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Enabling on-screen nav bar.
    1. Open ES File Explorer and grant su access.

    2. Go to system and open build.prop with ES Note Editor and add this line in the end:

      Code:

      qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

    3. Save build.prop and reboot.

    4. Check if soft keys are enabled.

    5. If enabled successfully, proceed to next section.

  • Disabling hardware capacitive keys.
    1. Go to system/usr/keylayout and open 'atmel-maxtouch.kl' with ES Note Editor.

    2. In the end of that file there will be following three lines:

      Code:

      key 139    MENU    VIRTUAL
      key 102    HOME    VIRTUAL
      key 158    BACK    VIRTUAL

    3. Add a '#' before each line so it would look like this:

      Code:

      #key 139    MENU    VIRTUAL
      #key 102    HOME    VIRTUAL
      #key 158    BACK    VIRTUAL

    4. Save the file and exit.

  • Disabling capacitive key lights.
    1. Download Capacitive Buttons app from Play Store.

    2. Open it and grant su access.

    3. Select the first option i.e no brightness.

    4. Reboot
