FM Radio topic

Hi all......on the 8th January, I upgrade to an S5. From what i've heard, the S5 doesn't offer an FM radio, does this mean simply that the app isn't included, or that the hardware won't support it? In other words, can I flash Spirit FM and receive traditional broadcasts, or do I have to rely on internet streaming? Thanks in advance for the answers........Keith
