No EFS folder, how do I change the bluetooth MAC address? topic

Basically as the topic says. Basically, I want to be able to use my Sixaxis controller without having to wire and pair it each time with each device I use it with (tablet, phone, laptop). Normally, you just change the bt_addr file in the /efs folder and /data/misc/bluedroid/bt_conf.xml file to reflect the unified MAC address. Alas, there is no /efs folder and simply changing the the bluedroid file has no apparent effect and is reverted on start of the bluetooth daemon.

Any ideas?
