[Q] Black Edition i9505 topic

Hello, I recently purchased a phone i95005 Black Edition and a friend told me to install a customized room to keep me more battery and have better performance. The idea is that there are many rooms, all fit for my phone? I want most to keep me more battery, if possible, and higher performance is even ok.He told me that if I put a rom that is not compatible with my phone risk to ruin it all.
