Tab 4 10.1 Battery Drain After 50% topic

I have a weird battery problem that has persisted past reseting the tablet with kies, rooting/unrooting

My battery seems to drain normally from 100 to 50% but after 50% it will drain within minutes to 0 if the screen is on and not drain at all if the screen is off. The battery life is pretty abysmal (4.5 hours to 2%)

I have attached screen shots of my battery screen. Has anyone else had an issue like this or any ideas how I can fix it?
