[Q] Hacking a Pendo Pad 10 topic

Greetings

Trying to get inside a Pendo Pad 10 I bought recently (because I don't have enough frustration and stress in my working life).

Have got Ubuntu 14.04 recognising it via Android Studio and from a shell "adb shell" gets me in. I can also reboot in recovery mode using "adb reboot recovery" but I just can't get the bloody thing to boot into fastboot mode. When I use "adb reboot bootloader" it just switches the tablet off and it won't reboot until I disconnect the USB cable and then reboot it.

Likewise the Power + Voume Up will boot into recovery mode but Power + Volume Down does nothing.
