[Q] Trying to root my i9506 S4. topic

I am new to this, so I am stumbling in the dark. I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel though.

I am trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S4 i9506 bought in Denmark.

I have found the following guides:

This guide wants me to flash CWM before rooting.
This one wants me to do more or less the same

I get the impression, that these are the types of phones that are compatible with the first guide's files.

The information I have found on my phone by dialing *#1234# does not add up with any of the listed numbers:

Does this mean that my phone is not supported? :eek:

This problem aside, I found another guide.
This guide does not have me install ClockWorkMod to root my device. What's up with that? This seems much easier - too easy, really.
