Repartitioning of NST 1.2.1 onto rooted device topic

I have next question -
I want to free the "hidden" 750 MBs, reserved for B&N books in Nook Simple Touch.
Is it a problem to make re-partition of Nook's HDD after the device is rooted ?
Forgot to make original back-up :(
